 Mediobanca introduces Mediobanca Premier, a specialized bank focused on managing the savings and investments of Italian families. This initiative is a crucial step in Mediobanca's growth plan outlined in the 2023-26 Strategic Plan, 'One Brand – One Culture,' with a primary goal of developing the Wealth Management division.

Mediobanca Premier combines and values two essential assets of the group. On one hand, the expertise gained by Mediobanca in over 70 years of market activity alongside businesses. On the other hand, the experience of CheBanca!, born in 2008 as a digital-native operator.



With the ambition to become a leader in the mid-high market segment, Mediobanca Premier will offer advice, management, and protection of wealth using Asset Management products and the Capital Market and Corporate & Investment Banking products of Mediobanca.

The launch of Mediobanca Premier marks the beginning of a rebranding process that will involve all channels of CheBanca!

The growth of Mediobanca Premier will significantly boost the development of the Wealth Management division, which includes Private networks (Mediobanca Private Banking in Italy and CMB in the Principality of Monaco) and product factories, consolidated under Mediobanca Asset Management (Mediobanca Sgr in Italy, Polus Capital Management for illiquid credit, and Ram Active Investment for systematic equity funds). Wealth Management, under the leadership of CEO Francesco Saverio Vinci, aims to become the top contributor in fees and second in revenue by 2026, bringing high profitability to the Group.

Mediobanca Premier will leverage the expertise of approximately 1,100 professionals (equally divided between bankers and financial advisors) across about 200 points of sale nationwide, including branches and financial consulting offices.

This effort is complemented by the continuous strengthening of digital platforms: from the wealth advisory suite and mobile/internet banking channels to the Premier Business platform for entrepreneurs and professionals, integrating various operational features and facilitating remote consultancy.

The renewal of the offering and the introduction of a new brand will drive a recruitment plan, increasing the sales networks of Mediobanca Premier from 1,100 to 1,350 professionals between 2023-26. This expansion supports the goal of a 25% increase in total assets, from 39 to 50 billion euros by the end of the 2026 plan.

The launch of Mediobanca Premier will be accompanied by a campaign in the coming weeks across print, TV, digital channels, and radio. The campaign is designed by Le Dictateur Studio, previously involved in the 2020 CheBanca! campaign, with planning by HAVAS MEDIA NETWORK.
